NWF is proud to support the GrantEd Foundation, a local nonprofit organization changing the lives of public-school teachers and students in the highest need communities of Washington D.C. GrantEd's annual fundraising event, “Taste of H” – is an evening of celebration with local vendors & tasty food from local H Street restaurants. The funds raised through this event support teachers in the District of Columbia’s low-income Wards 7 and 8, where teachers spend $1.2 million out of pocket each year on school supplies. Keep up the great work, GrantEd! If you would like to learn more or register for Grant Ed’s Taste of H, visit http://tasteofh.org! •

Over Labor Day weekend, the hurricane stalled for 48 hours in the Bahamas as a Category 5 storm leaving 70,000 Bahamians without homes and food. As one of the most powerful Atlantic hurricanes to make landfall, many are in need of support for the recovery process. Today we're sharing that NewWave Tech has partnered with the Bahamas Red Cross to purchase food, hygiene products and supplies for families in need during this time. Interested in supporting relief efforts? We encourage you to visit Forbe’s list of how to get involved! Find the link on our Facebook page.
