Join us for a weekly Mental Health challenge this month!

May is Mental Health Awareness month and we’re doing our part to advocate and educate our community. It’s more pertinent now than ever before to recognize the role that mental health plays in our overall well-being, and the value in raising awareness to reduce associated stigmas.

Due to the multitude of misconceptions surrounding mental illness, people often suffer in silence and don’t seek help. Mental health awareness month is an important initiative to improve the understanding of mental health conditions and increase access to resources for those who need it.

This month, NWF is partnering with Newwave Tech to share weekly challenges on our Instagram to encourage our followers to focus on self. Join in on the fun by following us @NWFoundation_ to keep up and share ways that you’ve been focusing on your mental wellness.

Financial Literacy Month Series Recap

As you may know, April was National Financial Literacy month and in its honor, we hosted a weekly Instagram Live featuring a host of guest speakers highlighting different themes surrounding building generational wealth. If you missed the chance to attend, click here to watch the recap of weekly financial gems that were shared throughout the month.

If you’d like to learn more about financial basics like budgeting, investing and achieving your wealth goals, we encourage you to check out the financial education books written by one of our guest speakers, Ray’Chel Wilson of Raise The Bar Investments. Each book is appropriate for teenagers and adults of all ages. This is the perfect gift for a student, friend or colleague, so feel free to use this opportunity to spread the wealth!
